Aquatic Instruments LLC is an independent software company founded in 2026 and based in Redmond, Washington. We build specialized software for technical divers and underwater exploration.
Our focus is reliable planning tools, practical workflows, and clear interface design for demanding dive profiles. We develop native software products under the Aquatic Instruments name and use this website as the public home for company, product, and support information.
Our first product is Deco Captain, a decompression planning app for iPhone currently in prerelease development.
Leadership
Aquatic Instruments is led by founder Leland Jansen, a software engineer and active diver. Product design and testing are informed by hands-on experience with technical diving, rebreathers, and underwater field use.
